Acquerello is one of Fedrigoni's classic ranges of uncoated papers and boards, appreciated for its distinctive felt-marked texture on both sides and its natural, artisanal look. It is made from ECF cellulose and is FSC® certified, making it suitable for both premium projects and creations with a focus on sustainability. Be inspired by tactility. Why we recommend Acquerello for handmade:
Texture that can be felt and seen. The felt marking on both sides offers a slightly textured, elegant surface, ideal for techniques that capitalize on relief and shadow. Uncoated, with natural absorption. The uncoated surface is suitable for inking, stamping, writing, printing and creative finishes (depending on settings and materials). Range of weights for structured objects. Available in weights from 100 to 390 g/m² (B1 format), Acquerello can be used for both pages and covers and rigid structures.

Practical recommendations (for clean results)
- Stamping & creasing: use well-sharpened dies; the texture requires well-controlled pressure.
- Emboss/Deboss: the felt texture amplifies the relief; test on weights 200–390 g/m².
- Folio: for solid areas, prefer clichés and adjusted temperatures/pressures; do samples first.
- Digital / offset printing: for uniform colors, do a profile/curve test; the uncoated surface can “sweeten” the contrast.
- Adhesives: for boxes/structures, prefer fast-setting adhesives and thin application to avoid curling.
